A spooky white vapour-like object was caught darting across a dark street in front of a home.

The mysterious gliding object has been described as a “ghost” or “ghost mist” after the doorbell camera footage was shared by a conspiracy video blogger.

In the clip, a fisheye lens shows a dark residential street with homes, gardens, and cars visible in the background.

Immediately in front of the doorbell camera is the path to the door and some metal railings.

The night seems completely calm when, suddenly, floating white tendrils appear in the right side of the frame.

Eerily, the formless object appears to move through the railings and then head towards the left side of the frame.

It then vanishes as quickly as it appeared.

The creepy incident was shared on YouTube by The Hidden Underbelly 2.0 who often shared paranormal clips with fans.

Narrating the clip, he explains that it is “ghost mist” and looks nothing like a bug – with moths often the culprit for alleged ghostly goings-on.

He also dismissed the idea that the object was a piece of debris being blown about by the wind.

“It couldn’t be breeze that’s moving this because there is none, you can judge by the trees and the plants in the plant pots,” he says.

The footage has fascinated viewers since it was uploaded on the channel, after initially being recorded by Jeff L. in Elkhorn in Omaha, Nebraska, US on June 12.

One person commented: “These are clearly spirits of deceased people or ‘otherwise’ caught on camera freely moving through and about in the cover and relative peacefulness of the nighttime.”

“The first one Is definitely moving with purpose,” said a second.

Another believer in the paranormal stated: “The first clip could be a ghost vapor. It did seem to come from nowhere.”

But others said the mysterious object was still just a flying insect.

“I have a ring camera and for some reason, bugs look really ‘misty’ at night,” said a cynic.

This comes after a dog’s reaction to a “ghost” closing the door was caught in intense footage.

And the “ghost of a dead cat” was recorded curled upon its owner’s sofa by a pet cam.

Meanwhile, the dark and shadowy object in this video has been theorised to be “dogman” or a “ghost” after a screaming man filmed it and then slammed shut his door.
