‘Fortunately today, there are many clubs interested in signing Cavani. He still does not know where he will play, he has three months left in Paris,’ Gomez told Uruguayan outlet Ovacion Digital.

A move to Spain could well be on the cards if La Liga side Atletico Madrid renew their interest.
Diego Simeone’s men were heavily linked with Cavani in January, and in February Gomez lamented the fact that PSG had blocked his move to the Wanda Metropolitano.

The 33-year-old has been displaced this season in Thomas Tuchel’s side, with loan star Mauro Icardi scoring 20 goals in 31 games this term.
Cavani is PSG’s all-time top scorer, currently sitting on 200 goals after playing 301 games following his £58million move from Napoli in 2013.
